It has long been said that science and Religion, in particular Christianity, are equal and opposite forms of belief. Supposedly science has all the answers and religion is a thing of the past. We should all listen to science and scientists because they have all the answers to life's questions, in particular How did the earth begin?
However, the main form of 'evidence' our scientific friends have is Transitional Fossils. Ever since Charles Darwin wrote his 'Origin of Species' (published in 1859), evolutionists have been searchng for the necessary fossils which the theories in his book demand. These fossils, which 'prove' Darwin's theories are known as Transitional Fossils. Although millions upon millions of fossils have been discovered, none of the 'missing links' in Darwin's book have turned up.
In order to get around this problem, a new branch of evolutionists developed. These 'new evolutionists' now suggest a theory called Punctuated Equilibrium. This means that the evolutionary process occurred in 'jumps'. This means that there would be NO Transitional Fossils and that is why none can be found. Yet again, as with the Darwinian theory there is no evidence, either scientific or archaelogical to support these suggestions. It is very interesting to note that in his book (Origin of the Species); Charles Darwin makes the following statement, which to some extent diminishes his entire theory:
"Why do we not find innumerable transitional forms embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated chain, and this, perhaps, is the most serious objection against my theory."
- Evolutionists should surely feel totally embarrassed when one of their leading proffessors in Botanical evolution, Professor EJH Corner, published the following in his book (Evolution in Contemporary Botanical Thought):
- "I still think that to the unprejudiced, the fossil record is in favor of SPECIAL CREATION!"
So if a professor who is supposedly against God can admit to a special creation, why can't others who have no proof at all for their theories? The irony is that the scientists in whom people put so much faith have been wrong so many times in the past (maybe they'll get it right one day). For example for many years people believed it was impossible to run a mile in under four minute, many articles were published in Physiology journals that 'proved' the human body simply could not do it. Then in Oxford on the 6th May 1954, Roger Bannister broke the record! In addition to that ten other runners done so within two years. What a smack in the mouth for those scientists who 'proved' it wasn't possible.
There are ten stages of evolutionary life that are supposedly backed up by the Transitional Fossils mentioned in Darwins Book; all do not exist.

- Invertebrates - Fish
- Land Mammals - Sea Mammals
- Fish - Amphibians
- Non flying mammals - Bats
- Amphibians - Reptiles
- Apes - Human Beings
Now as we can see evolutionary links are missing, but there is one link that is not missing and His name is Jesus Christ. And unlike the evolutionary links he is real, he came to join the missing link from man to God, by sacrificing himself on a cross for you and all mankind.
